What does the data you collect suggest to you about college life?
How do students relate to Bloomsburg University? What kind of clubs are students involved in and why? These are just two of the many questions that I was able to answer through these two interviews. I was able to personally talk with these students, rather than just make assumptions based on my observations. One of the first things I would like to point out is the type of clubs that students get involved in. From the first interview, this student is a Criminal justice major, the club that he was a part of, was the Criminal Justice Society. This club that he is involved in is not only going to help give experience for his major, but it is also something that he enjoys and finds very interesting. The other person I chose to interview is in the field of Exercise Science. One of the things that I noticed is how is extracurricular activities that he is involved in are sports. I find this very reasonable since in his field he will be dealing with people who play sports. This person is not only getting the experience with playing some of these sports, but he will be understand the athletes that he will have to work with in his career. I would also like to point out how both of the students I interviewed actually do not live on campus, this shows that even though students may not live on campus, there are still so many opportunities to be a part of the Bloomsburg community through extracurricular activities.
